Most hurricanes happen during the summer. The reason they mostly occur during the summer is because the weather is dry and and moist out side. The ocean tides heat up then the water presure heats up after that it causes hurricanes to occur. Thats why places like Florida and the gulf get hurricane's the most.

Scientist say that it is impossible to tell how often a hurricane occurs. Most of the time though hurricane usually occurs when it is hot and and the tropical ocean and light wind is in the air. But there is still know possible way to be possitve on how hurricanes occur. The one reason there is no possible way to know how a hurricane occurs because nobody is there to wach them and you don't know that they have occured utel they have occured. Usually hurricanes do not occur unless the wind is going about 74 mph or faster, but it can happen with the wind not blowing that high.

Hurricanes are usually tracked by high flying balloons. Scientist send off the high flying balloons, and when the high flying balloon finds a hurricane it sends off a sound to the scientist letting them now where the hurricane is and how fast the hurricane is moving. Also sometimes they wonder if the high flying balloon is acurate because it is usually just persiecst all the time bust majorite of the time they are right. Scientist say that the reason they are not always right is because of the weather changing factors.SO if you check the weather once a day to see were a hurricane or where one is about to hit that one time may be wrong.
